WAYNE BEATS HANGOVER TO WIN MEDAL AT PATTANA

It was an ominous sky that greeted our 6 groups for the September Medal at Pattana C & B nines. Heavy, dark and low clouds threaten to spoil the day but thankfully, the golfing gods seem to be shining on us and it stayed rain free.
It was certainly a day to remember for Wayne Peppernell who nearly fell over teeing up on the first hole! Wayne came in with a net 70 which was good enough to win the Green Jacket and the medal. It was a close run thing however with Robert Cha also retuning a net 70 but a double bogey on the last saw him losing on a countbck.
