CHA DANCES ROUND BANG PAKONG

Another hot and dry day for our golfers this time at the excellent Bang Pakong Riverside Course where they must have some of the best facilities in Thailand. It was a close battle between Robert Cha and Nick Aubin. Coming down the last Nick was marginally ahead on 36 points to Robert's 35. Nick played a glorious 4th shot out of a greenside bunker to 4 feet. Meanwhile, Robert found the water but recovered to be just off the green for 4 shots. He then proceeded to chip in whilst Nick missed his 4 footer for Robert to win on a count back. There is no truth in the rumour that Robert was rushed to hospital to remove Nick's putter from his rear end! The battle for 3rd and 4th place was also a close run affair with Carl Lovatt edging out Russell Blatchford on a count back.
