BRIAN GOES GREEN AT EMERALD

Another hot day was the order for our groups who played at Emerald. Unfortunately, the greens at Emerald were undergoing a radical maintenance program with coring and sanding. It is fair to say that this was well reflected with the scores that came in with 36 being the winning score. It was a tremendous effort from Brian Barrell who beat the ever steady Russell Blatchford on a count back. It has been a long time since Brian has donned the Green Jacket and he was a very popular winner.
