YIANNIS AND ALLAN SMASH IT AT PATTAYA COUNTRY CLUB SCRAMBLE

10 groups, 1 x 3 ball and 9 x 4 balls, took to the fairways for The Links monthly scramble at Pattaya Country Club where our players were met with perfect weather conditions and a perfect golf course. It was certainly perfect golf from Yiannis and Allan Jones who grossed a 6 under par 66. It would appear that Yiannis and Allan have come up with the ideal partnership for a scramble with Yiannis being a scratch player and Allan playing off a handicap of 27 which gave them a match handicap of 6.75.
With each player having to hit a minimum of 6 tee shots, Allan was certainly not deterred and his quota was completed by the 10th hole. There net score of 59.25 was 3.25 better than runners-up Gary Kuhnel and Mick Jones. Their returned score of 62.50 would normally be good enough to win any 2 man scramble but for the excellent Yiannis and Allan.

2nd Place Gary Kuhnel / Mick Jones (5.50) – 62.50
3rd Place David Rose / Ian Brimble (2.50) – 64.50
4th Place Petur Petursson / Selwyn Yates (3.25) – 64.75
