FIREMAN GREG SETS ROYAL LAKESIDE ALIGHT

Retired Aussie fireman Greg Smith, is used to putting fires out but today at Royal Lakeside he set the course on fire with a Green Jacket winning 40 points. Greg had the misfortune of losing his clubs thanks to an error by an airline a few months ago but he is running into some good form with his new sticks.
Whereas Pattaya has seen very little rain recently, it was pretty obvious that Royal Lakeside has seen some pretty severe weather with a lot of water lying in bunkers and carts restricted to the cart paths only. The course however was still in excellent condition with the greens running true. Royal Lakeside, like its neighbour Bang Pakong Riverside, is well worth the extra mileage to play.
