CARL WINS HIS MAIDEN GREEN JACKET AT PATTAVIA

With many of our players having returned home and with many others by-passing Songkran, The Links took just 5 groups to the peaceful Pattavia course. Renowned for its very fast and tricky greens, today was no different with just about everyone having trouble getting the ball in the hole. Despite the trickery of the greens, there were still some good scores posted with none better than the 38 points returned by Carl Lovatt for his maiden Green Jacket victory.
Shot of the day however went to Frank McArdle who holed his 140 yard approach shot for an eagle at the par 5 18th hole.
