WILKO WINS A HOT ONE AT GREENWOOD

Sixteen groups took to the fairways of B & C courses at the popular Greenwood complex. We were given a free run of the course with few other golfers present. With rising temperatures, the golfers were advised to take plenty of fluids onboard. One of our players took plenty of fluid on from the night before but it didn’t deter him as he came in with a match winning 40 points. One can only surmise that Tom Wilkinson has read the Colm Lawlor training manual! Congratulations Tom on your first Green Jacket.
Winner of A Flight was another of our Australian visitors, Nick MacArtin who totalled 38 points and edged out Massy Quaid on countback.
