ROBERT DOES THE WALTZ ROUND WATERSIDE

The Links took 48 golfers to Siam Waterside and all were expecting to see a course in pristine condition with a professional and courteous staff – they were not disappointed. Once again, Siam Waterside accommodated extra groups for us such is the popularity of the course. They were greeted upon arrival by well-mannered and very efficient starters.
It was Robert Cha, recently arrived from Korea who starred with a magnificent round of 40 points which equated to a gross score of 2 over par. Robert headed Flight A from Francis Goyons who returned 38 points. Flight B, which was for handicaps 17 and over, was headed from the start by Peter Zundert who was the first card to be returned. His 36 looked good to win the Flight until the last card was returned from George Mueller with 37 points. George is coming back into form and will surely don the Green Jacket sooner rather than later. Today however, the day belonged to Robert.
