STEVE BEATS BILLY TO THE TREASURE AT THE HILL

Late call offs resulted in The Links taking 36 golfers to Treasure Hill and they were met with perfect golfing conditions. It was a sunny day with a good breeze. The course was in excellent condition with some tricky pin positions. The last time we were at Treasure Hill there were issues with the amount of 6 ball groups on the course but there were no ssues today with the lead 4 ball getting round in just over 4 hours.
As for the golf, only Steve Moxey and Billy Buchanan managed to break par with both returning 37 points. It was Steve who triumphed courtesy of a better back nine. It was a strange day for Steve when his caddy said that she could not drive so he had to do the business behind the wheel. We are happy to report that he managed to navigate the 18 holes without getting lost, unlike one of his clubs.
