𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗞𝗦 𝗚𝗢𝗟𝗙 𝗦𝗢𝗖𝗜𝗘𝗧𝗬…𝗣𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯...𝗪𝗲𝗱. 𝗝𝘂𝗻.𝟭…𝗦/𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱

Since becoming a member at Siam, we haven’t seen much of Steve Moxey, but we may see him more often.
A triumphant return to a regular golf course saw him score an impressive 41 points to take his first Green Jacket since about February last year.

A week back, John Chelo lamented about having such a low score. However, since that day, he has had a couple of scores of 36 points.
He has outdone all that with a big 40 points to fill second place here.

Robert Cha has continued his good run of podium finishes since arriving at Links. Another terrific score of 37 points from his low handicap has found him in third place.

Another consistent game from Mike Ehlert gave him the fourth spot after winning a three way countback on a solid 35 points.

The other two players with 35 points, Paul Durkan and Tony Browne, missed a placing but each picked up a ‘best nine’ consolation.

We returned to this course after a long period wondering in what sort of condition we would find it. Over the years it has been a bit hit or miss.

However, we did find an excellent presentation and, even though there was sanding on some of the greens, putting wasn’t affected, certainly for the top placegetters.

There was a heavy shower of rain just after everyone had teed off, so they had a short stop before continuing. The rain returned just as the last group walked from the last green.

So, a no drama return to this course and. at the sports day price of 1280 bht, we could be back again soon.
