It was only a couple of weeks ago when Ivan Nielsen and his mate, Hans, asked how good a score do you need to wear the Green Jacket.

The question was answered very quickly by Ivan himself as he scooted away from the opposition with an excellent 40 points for the win and the โ€˜Jacketโ€™, to go with his hole-in-one back in December.

Nick Aubin plays from a #6 handicap and has shown that he can play to that, with a very good 37 points to take second place on a countback.

Andrew Purdie, who was a handicap #8 until a couple of weeks ago, lost that countback, but 37 points from #11 handicap is still good form.

John Edwards, playing his final game before heading back to Darwin, Aust. managed to grab fourth placing with a solid 36 points, winning a countback from the ever reliable Jamie Booterbaugh.

This Phoenix Gold golf course never fails to be presented in top grade condition and, again today, everyone of our 22 players made comment as to how good it is.
Fairways nicely cut and the greens, as usual, running truly and with good pace.

The sky stayed overcast for the whole round, but everyone stayed dry as the rain seemed to find somewhere else to go.

With a clear run, our first groups made good time and all were back to Links nice and early.
