Jamie Booterbaugh has been here for about three months this time around and has shown the most consistently good form as any player currently at Links.
He is about to take off for a stint back in the U.S.A, so made sure to get his last Green Jacket before he goes. OR, is it his last one? There could be one more chance.

The winning score today was just 35 points and that score was shot by three golfers.

Jamie won all the countbacks to grab first spot.
Simon Niven, in his short one month stay, has already worn the ‘Jacket’ once and went very near to it again, losing that countback to Jamie.

Mike Ehlert, freshly returned from the U.S.A also staked a claim with his 35 points, but lost all the countbacks to hold third place.

Wayne Peppernell is maintaining his winning form and, although he didn’t win this one, still scored 34 points to win his countback and take fourth spot.

Glen Elsworth is playing a little more regularly and is making some good scores as well. He also had 34 points to finish in fifth place.

John Chelo didn’t need to be in a countback as he alone had 33 points and the final place on the podium.

We are not sure why, at the presentations, Billy apologized for playing the longer yellow tees. At Khao Kheow and, incidentally, Greenwood, we do mix it around in order to cater for the range of handicaps on the day. Playing the course presented.

The new management at Khao Kheow is getting to work on improving this course so, with work happening around the different nines, there are some ragged edges. However, apart from some large GUR and some sanding, it still played like a good course should.

And, we must mention the terrific all-in price of 1100 bht. That is great value and appreciated.
