Once you start to win, you just can’t stop, or so it seems with Bryan Barrell. It was a good win two days ago and now another 36 points, his third 36 pts or better in three consecutive games. His score today gives him the win and his second successive Green Jacket.

Purple patches are nice to have. Keep it going Bryan.

Wayne Peppernell had 41 points earlier in the month, after a long lay off. He’s been out of the placings since then, but came back to his good form here with 35 points to take second spot.

Young Min Ko is also playing well and he also had 35 points, but losing the countback to finish third.

John Heffernan has played four games with us now, and has been in the placings in three of them, just as a good #9 handicapper should. He won fourth place here on countback with 33 points.

Once in a while Gang Zong finds something extra, so this is not the first time he has placed.
He was beaten into fifth place on countback by John, on 33 points.

Even though the Songkran holidays are still happening, we had a tee time of 10.00 am, but all six groups got away earlier, where the last group teed off at 10.10 am.
The rain came again, although a couple of groups kept playing until they could get to shelter. It didn’t last long, so all finished in good time.

The course, which so many love to hate, was in very good condition and the greens, which are usually true and slick were, it seems, a little bit extra quick this time, resulting in some lamenting three putts.
