Bryan Barrell loves getting onto a golf course. He’s a hacker like most of us, and is rarely on the leaderboard.
We should be surprised at his score today of 40 points, but we are not, as he already notched up 36 points in his round two days ago.

The question is? Where has this guy, that Phil calls ‘Father Christmas’, finding this wonderful winning form. Doesn’t matter, he is having a purple patch, so he will happily take the presents.

In second place was a player who never seems to play a bad game. Jamie Booterbaugh was right there in contention again with a score of 35 points.

Walter Grossan has not finished more games than he has finished, but this time he showed what he can do by scoring 34 points to take third spot on countback.

Karl Flood is a member at this course, and always joins us when we come here, as well as some other courses. He also had 34 points, but lost the countback to Walter.

John Harrison returned to Thailand after a long absence because of restrictions. He is to play only the one game before heading for the ‘Village’. A first up 33 points got him into fifth place.

Billy Buchanan scored 31 points to win a three way countback at that score, to grab the final spot.

At our last round here, in March, the Green Jacket winner scored 38 points from #35 handicap. Bryan won today from a #36 handicap, and on both occasions from the longer white tees.
A good course for high handicaps?

With Songkran holidays happening, the course was very busy and we were behind the usual group we find here on Friday’s.

Consequently, it was a slower round than we are used to.
At one point, the Par 3, sixth, we had our first three groups all waiting to use that tee. This is something not seen for a long time.

𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝘀 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 is a PSC affiliated, friendly group and welcomes golfers of all levels. We play 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 ,𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆.
