Although there had been a lot of rain on the course the previous day, which called for a rarity at this course, a lift, clean and place, this day was just ideal weather and conditions were very comfortable.
We started with 32 players teeing off a little early, and finished with 30 after two pulled the pin during the round.
Chris Kerr, in his first game with Links, scored 36 points to win on countback from Nigel Henson who, in turn won a countback to relegate Steve Moxey to third.
Grant Pride scored 35 points and won a countback to leave Paul Durkan in fifth place.
Happy to see Dave Clewley, who does come to the bar almost every day, and does have drinks and socialize, get into the placings. He also won a countback on 33 points, this time over Paul Anderson.

They play in their own group and then few, if any come back to the bar to attend the quite generous presentations, and to socialize, even for a short time. And, of course not one baht goes into the cash register.
In these days of trying to serve the golfersโ needs and wants, but to also cover costs, it would be nice to support the bar.
Consequently, as in the past, we have no photo of the winner as he has never played with us before.
