Greenwood

A good turnout of 4 groups at Greenwood where the course was in very good condition and very good value at 1,250 all in. We had two 2's , Colin Service and newcomer Jeff Pecor (on B9 ). In 4th , winning on the back 9 with 37pts was the crafty cockney Martin Allard.(28). In 3rd, losing out on the back 9 was Kiwi Allan Mc Mullen (16) with 38pts. But the day belonged to the Irish. In 2nd place, with 38pts, B/9 23, was the Kilkenny cat, Tom Gorey (21). The winner with a fantastic 43pts, playing off 16 was the Galway Blazer, Captain Gerry Conway. Well done Captain.
