Playing the shorter yellow tees on a golf course in near perfect condition, and with near perfect weather, should have seen plenty of high scores, as happened here last month.
This time, however, the scores were way higher than that time, which meant that if you didn’t get to 40 points you were right out of contention.

Jamie Booterbaugh came in with his great score of 43 points, from a handicap of #13 and looked to have a win in the bag.

Niall Caven usually comes in joking about his fantastic score, so we didn’t believe him when he said he had 43 points.
But this time it was for real!

So, after the countback, Jamie did take the win with 22 points on the countback nine against Niall’s 21 points, Very close!
Jamie was happy to claim his second Green Jacket.

George Mueller found plenty of form today, where the shorter course suits him. An excellent 42 points got him into third place.

Then a countback for the next two places with Peter Kelly scoring 40 points, 22 on the back nine beating Lawrie McBride who had 21 points on the run in.

To round out the podium, Mike Tottenham didn’t make forty points, but 39 points was enough for sixth spot.

Once again, we found a golf course in excellent condition and the good news is, that when we visit here in March, there is a special lower price than what we paid today. Don’t miss it.
