This golf course was in quite good condition and the greens were still as slick as last time here, and the time before.
The greens may have been the undoing of many, as four putts were talked about a lot, afterwards.
The weather was fine and hot, with not much of a breeze for relief.
Apparently, a hard day at the office, however.

Glen Elsworth, in a rare appearance, although becoming a little more regular, was the one player, on the day, to come in under his handicap with a good round of 38 points to take the win in ‘A’ flight and the Green Jacket.

Ben Hebert is another who plays sparingly and he played a solid round for 35 points and second place.

Lawrie McBride, in his second game after an 18 month absence due to a certain so called pandemic, did well with his 34 points to beat the ‘Champ’, Jean-Pierre Gasser, in a tight countback for third spot.

Jean-Pierre, in turn, beat the consistent Petur Petursson for the fourth place in another countback.

Mike Kaps has been wanting to wear the Green Jacket before he goes home and his really good score of 36 points very nearly got him there. He may make it yet, if he keeps up that good form.
Mike won the ‘B’ flight ahead of a young Korean, Zong. He has had a slow start with us, but now we can see that he can play a bit.

Zong won all the countbacks on 34 points to take second place, beating Billy Buchanan for that spot.
Tony Browne was the other with 34 points so he had the fourth place.

Our other Korean, Young Min Ko, had one of his better rounds to win a countback on 33 points to grab the final spot.

For some reason, our tee time was moved from 10.00am to 10.20 am.
Upon arrival, we were given the okay to start early. So, our 34 players got away even before 10.00 am. Strange, but we were happy to take the earlier start.

The pricing here is still very nice and we always have a good feeling coming to this course.
