Update

Phoenix Gold today we arrived with a little rain not heavy but just a drizzle, it stopped after a couple of holes and the rest of the round went like clockwork. It didn’t start to get hot until the thunder started when we were on the 16th hole but everybody beat the storm and were under shelter when it hit. The course even after the amount of rain it has had was in great condition except the rough was bloody rough and tough to get out of. With 3 groups playing we got away right on time and just cruised around the course. The scoring was good with a count back 2nd and 3rd between Glyn Davies and Stuart Day both on 36 points with Stuart taking 3rd place and Glyn 2nd, Brian Jacks took the main trophy with a fine 40 points, and once again there were no two’s recorded.
