KING JOHN REIGNS SUPREME AT GREENWOOD

Courses A and C were the nines for our golfers at Greenwood on yet another hot and dry day although our golfers did get hit with a very brief shower of rain. Like Royal Lakeside on Monday, there was evidence that Greenwood had recorded some rain with the occasional plugged ball. Nevertheless, the course was playing well with the greens running true.
Two scores stood out from the rest but it was John McGee who ruled the roost with a staggering 44 points. Under normal circumstances, Jon Dean's 40 points would be good enough for the Green Jacket but on today's form, nobody was going to overtake John.
