AUSSIE / IRISH DUO TRIUMPH AT GREENWOOD

Once again, the monthly Links scramble proved to be a huge success with our 16 groups enjoying a glorious day weather wise on a course in excellent condition. There was a good breeze which helped keep the heat down and also added to the severity of some of the holes. Value for money, it is hard to beat with a discount given to PSC members. The courteous staff on top of the excellent course conditions made it another very enjoyable outing.
It was even more enjoyable for the Aussie / Irish combination of Quinton Murphy and Donal Colley who had a handicap of 0.5. The pair shot a gross score of 8 under par to give them a net 63.75. Runners up was another low handicap pairing of Ben Hebert and Richie McGhie who shot a 3 under par 69 for a net 66.25
