ITS WAYNES WORLD AT BURAPHA

It has been a while since The Links ventured out to Burapha and even longer when we played nines C & D. As has been the norm recently, it was another very hot day although at least there was a slight breeze which helped keep conditions more bearable. The general feeling about the course was that the fairways and tees were in excellent condition with the greens being a little bumpy and quite slow for Pattaya.
One player who was delighted with the greens was Wayne Langford who returned 43 points. It has been a long time coming for the Aussie and his maiden Green Jacket success went down well with everyone. Runner up was another Wayne with Wayne Peppernell pipping Nick Aubin on a countback after both returned 39 points. The final podium place went to John Coetzee with 38.
