IT’S A SMITH ROLE REVERSAL AT EASTERN STAR
×
HIDE
With numbers dwindling, it was a quiet Eastern Star which greeted our 6 groups of players. The skies looked ominous as we made our way to the course but thankfully there was no rain. Although there was a gentle breeze, it was still very hot.
The decision was taken to play off the shorter yellow tees which still measured over 6100 yards. As far as the golf was concerned, it was a role reversal of Thursdays meet at Rolling Hills. This time, it was father Smith who prevailed over his son with 38 points to 36.
