STEVE TRIUMPHS AT GLORIOUS BANG PAKONG

53 players travelled to Bang Pakong Riverside on Wednesday and were treated to a course in perfect condition with perfect weather conditions. Bang Pakong maybe an extra 15 – 20 minutes on the bus but is well worth the extra mileage.
The glorious conditions led to excellent scoring with both Flights coming in with high scores. An example of this was 4 handicap golfer Mike Smith coming in with 38 points which equated to a round of 2 over par but only succeeding in winning best front 9 non winner. Nick Aubin went one better with a gross 1 over par for 41 points but still could not win the Green Jacket. Pride of place went to Steve Moxey who carded 42 points. Steve will be first to admit that he has been struggling recently but his 42 points would indicate that he is back with a bang. In Flight B, for handicaps 17 and over, it was Soren Hansen who topped the flight with 40 points.
