Exactly a week after his first time wearing the Green Jacket, but not his first win, Ben Hebert grabbed a second Jacket with a terrific score of 40 points, to keep that winning mood going.

Huw Phillips continued the good form after his three months ‘holidays’ to make 39 points for second spot and another time in the placings.

Tony Browne was in the same group with Huw and his 38 points was a well earned third place.
Niall Caven, yet another member of this same group, also did well to score 37 points to win a countback over Bob Rice, for fourth place.

Dave Heyes made up the final place in that group and did not miss out. He won two near pins on the C course.

Another Pattaya society had nine groups ahead of our six groups on the A and B combination, so a very helpful starter suggested to us to play B and C courses. With that, we got started early and had all groups away before our scheduled tee time.

The B course was ready for use and in good condition. The C course was opened for us and wasn’t quite as good. The greens, particularly, were much slower on C course, but we did appreciate the decision.

A fine, but hot day out, but a pleasurable one to end a busy week.
