Itโ€™s been said many times that Treasure Hill is not an easy golf course. As many point out, there are trees everywhere?, so straight hitting and good course management is needed.
Scores are never that great and today was no exception, as no-one was able to play to handicap. Another win for Treasure Hill.

Ben Hebert plays sparingly, and on this occasion came out on top and got to wear the Green Jacket for the first time. His score of 34 points was credible from a #12 handicap.

It did come to a countback, however, as that Korean guy, Young Min Ko, put in another good round to also have 34 points, to just lose the countback.

Then the scores dropped away with second and third place having 31 points each.

George Mueller and Petur Petursson were markers for each other and both scored 31 points. It was George winning the countback narrowly over Petur.

Peter Mace, in his second visit with us this week, only had 29 points, but it was enough to secure the fifth and final spot.

This course was in very good condition, even though the fairways are drying a little. It seems they missed the rain we had in Pattaya overnight.

The greens are true and quite quick and the tee boxes, since the renovations, are still in excellent condition.

Our six groups all got away on time and, although the first group was held up by a six ball that appeared from who knows where for the last four holes, they finished in under four hours.

It was an interesting day as another Pattaya society was jumping holes and dodging around to escape the five and six balls, we saw them but they caused us no interference.
